Sean Hunt Joins West Monroe Partners as Director

Chicago – November 28, 2011 - West Monroe Partners, a North American business and technology consulting firm, today announced that Sean Hunt has joined the firm as a Director. Hunt, who has more than 15 years of financial advisory, transaction advisory and principal investing experience, is based in Chicago.

Hunt will help expand West Monroe Partners’ M&A solutions offering to include corporate development consulting,   a suite of services that includes assisting clients in developing and executing their merger and acquisition strategies; identifying, screening, and contacting target companies; and executing transactions. West Monroe Partners has assisted clients with over 325 transactions totaling more than $50 billion in value. 

Hunt’s career experience spans investment and commercial banking, private equity and corporate restructuring in multiple industries, including the industrial manufacturing, business services, healthcare, leisure, logistics, and aerospace and defense sectors. He joined West Monroe Partners from Seneca Partners, Inc., where he was a Vice President. In addition to advising corporate clients on completing mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, he also participated on the Seneca Partners and Seneca Health Partners LP investment committees and assisted with investment and portfolio management activities for Seneca Health Partners LP investment.

Previously, Hunt was a Vice President for Macquarie Capital Advisors in Chicago and London, where he worked with clients across industries to originate and execute acquisitions, raise capital, and restructure operations. He began his career with Bank of America, where he served in Associate and Analyst roles in the Global Investment Banking  and  Corporate Credit Products Groups. Hunt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics and Public Policy from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
