Alex Wyatt is a Senior Manager in West Monroe Partners’ Workforce Optimization practice and is based out of the Seattle office. With a background in retail, Alex brings over eight years of experience in delivering industrial engineering solutions, managing transformational projects and implementing workforce management systems.
Alex is an accomplished program manager with a track record of delivering value to clients in the retail and aviation industries through consulting on process improvement, transformational initiatives and workforce management systems. His career has focused on implementing workforce management solutions and optimizing labor spend for front line employees. Beyond his experience in workforce management, Alex also has a strong background in industrial engineering methodologies, project management and financial analysis.
Since joining West Monroe, Alex has primarily served the account of a major international retailer and is currently serving as Program Manager for their Asia region. During this time Alex has worked extensively in Shenzhen, China and Tokyo, Japan supporting the company to implement engineered labor standards, develop store roles and structures and capture labor cost savings.
Prior to joining West Monroe Alex worked for national grocery chain Safeway in their strategic initiatives department. In this role he was responsible for leading strategic labor, optimization and cost saving projects. Additionally, Alex was responsible the creation and management an offshore team of industrial engineer and IT professionals in the company’s Manila office.
Alex also supported workforce optimization function as a senior analyst for the airline industry at US Airways. In this position he acted as the lead industrial engineer responsible for modeling, optimizing and budgeting front line airport customer service employees.
Alex earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and an MOST certified consultant.
