Mike Rowland is a director in West Monroe Partners’ Customer Experience practice, specializing in digital solutions. He has more than 15 years of experience in digital strategy, innovation, management, and measurement.
Mike Rowland is an experienced senior executive with strong global business experience in providing digital leadership to an array of organizations, creating significant and measurable business value. He has deep experience and expertise in digital strategy, customer experience, analytics and reporting, collaboration strategy, demand generation, loyalty programs, social media, and marketing.

Mike joined West Monroe Partners in 2015 from PwC Digital, where he was a director responsible for supporting multiple client executive teams in using the power of interactive digital strategies to transform and generate business value. His clients included leaders in the automotive, consumer products, food packaging, airline, health insurance, beverage, consumer electronics, and telecommunications sectors. 

Previously, he was president and founder of Impact Interactions, a boutique agency dedicated to building and executing digital strategies for global clients. Over a decade, he oversaw growth from two employees to two offices in Chicago and Washington, DC.

Earlier in his career, Michael was director of client operations for Participate Systems Inc. (aka, a start-up that was the first venture-backed company to provide online community strategy, management, and measurement. He was responsible for launching and managing many of the first large-scale online communities for global brands focused on both consumers and business-to-business markets.

He is a thought leader and frequent speaker on the topics of interactive marketing, social media, collaboration, and analytics.

Michael earned a Master of Business Administration degree with concentration in Marketing and Consumer Behavior from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Ohio University.
