Brian Pacula

Brian Pacula is a senior manager in West Monroe Partners’ Supply Chain practice. He has nine years of experience delivering supply chain and logistics optimization solutions for clients in the manufacturing, distribution, and transportation industries.

Brian Pacula blends substantial operations experience with technology and engineering expertise to help clients improve their logistics business processes and serve their customers more effectively. With a strong focus on leveraging technology, he is able to produce operational productivity gains through application of logistics, labor management, and enterprise transportation strategies and best practices; carrier portfolio management solutions; process improvement; warehouse management system (WMS) optimization and other supply chain software solutions; workforce training; and change management principles.

In addition to working with clients, Brian has managed development of West Monroe Partners’ FLEXdlsTM discrete labor management software solution, which enhances existing WMS capabilities to drive greater value.

Brian has experience leading complex, global, multi-site supply chain logistics projects that involve both union and non-union environments, including managing contractors and third-party vendors.

Brian joined West Monroe Partners in 2007 from G&W Electric, a high-voltage switchgear manufacturer. As a manufacturing engineer, he managed multiple Kaizen teams during the company’s goal of becoming a lean enterprise. His teams were successful in reducing cycle times, inventory, and work in progress, all while improving quality, throughput, and worker morale. Many of the Kaizens involved creating documentation (work instructions, control plans, process maps) and standard work (takt time, SWIP, work sequencing) He also helped create best practices for measuring worker productivity on the production floor.

Brian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. He is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and holds Engineer in Training (FE) and Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST) certifications.
