She has 20 years of experience as a recruiting executive for leading organizations in the professional services, media, and insurance industries.
Julie Meyer leads West Monroe Partners’ Talent Acquisition function, which sources experienced and entry-level business consulting and technical talent for the firm’s eight offices across the United States. Since joining West Monroe Partners in 2007, she has guided development of the function, which has played a critical role in building a workforce that has fueled the firm’s rapid, year-on-year growth. During her tenure, West Monroe Partners has grown from 150 employees to 550 at the beginning of 2015.
Julie has extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing innovative talent acquisition strategies—experience that she has applied to refine and advance West Monroe Partners’ capabilities for finding and attracting people who both possess the skills and experience necessary to advance the firm’s business strategy and provide a strong fit with the firm’s unique, people-centric culture. Today, Julie oversees a team of high-performing recruiters who attract, assess, and manage a rewarding candidate experience for individuals considering opportunities with the firm.
Julie joined West Monroe Partners in 2007 from the Chicago Tribune, for which she recruited top talent for several departments, including Advertising, Interactive, Marketing, Finance, and Chicagoland Publishing. Her previous experience includes regional recruiting roles with Mercer Human Resources Consulting and CNA Insurance.
Julie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication & Management from DePaul University.
