Phuong LeCong works with healthcare clients to provide expertise in technology architecture and support delivery of technology-enabled business solutions, such as a health exchange enrollment system and a broker portal.
Phuong has worked in large FORTUNE 500 organizations but has also spent time building an early-stage Silicon Valley technology start-up. He is comfortable providing technology and process advice at an executive level. Yet as a capable full-stack developer, he also can dive deep to drive transformative technology solutions throughout the development lifecycle, from definition to delivery.
Phuong joined West Monroe Partners in 2016 as part of the firm’s acquisition of Invoyent, LLC, a healthcare business and technology consultancy for which he was a director.
Prior to joining Invoyent, he was a vice president of engineering for ReTel Technologies, Inc., an early-stage start-up that was later acquired. He worked in all facets of the company operations, including development, IT infrastructure operations, and product management to build a distributed video collection and cloud-based analytics platform. Following the acquisition of ReTel by ShopperTrak, he continued to improve the technology as developer of video analytics.
Previously, he was a principal with Strange Loop, Inc., providing clients, many in the healthcare industry, with technology expertise while filling a variety of roles from configuration management to performance tester to enterprise architect. He began his career in the Technology Integration practice of Deloitte Consulting LLP.
Phuong earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computer Science with a specialty in networks and distributed systems from the University of California-Irvine.
