Holly Kay


Holly Kay is West Monroe Partners’ chief financial officer and leader of several of the firm’s shared services functions. Since joining the firm in 2006, she has assisted leadership in executing organic growth and geographic expansion strategies that have increased revenue to over $160 million in 2016.


As chief financial officer and a member of the West Monroe Partners’ executive team, Holly oversees consolidated financial reporting. She has helped the organization maintain profitability during not only periods of high growth, but also during difficult times such as the most recent recession. She is responsible for integrating and supporting the company’s offices across the United States and assisting the office leaders in driving the company’s future growth. Holly also led the organization through a sale of West Monroe Partners to a 100-percent owned Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), effective December 31, 2012, in an effort to maintain the organization’s people-first culture. 

During Holly’s tenure with West Monroe, she also has led the collaboration of the company’s corporate functions through the creation and oversight of a shared services strategic plan and governance model. More recently, she has assumed leadership for several shared services functions, including Internal Technology, Quality Assurance, and Real Estate & Facilities. 

Prior to joining West Monroe Partners, Holly served in roles at American Capital Strategies and KPMG Transaction Services, where she was a financial consultant to financial investors who are focused on mid-size manufacturing, mining and professional services. Her focus was primarily in performing detailed financial and operational due diligence to identify key value drivers, transaction issues and post-acquisition opportunities, as well as assessing the sustainability of earnings. Holly started her career at Arthur Andersen in Milwaukee where she performed historical financial statement audits for public and privately held companies in various sectors, including consumer products, services, financial services, and professional sports. 

Holly is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration-Accounting.
