Ganesh Krishnamurthy is a Senior Manager in West Monroe Partners’ Energy and Utilities practice, based in Los Angeles. Ganesh has 15 years of experience in the engineering, consulting and utilities industries, specializing in water utilities, capital planning, resources management, and program management of complex capital deployment.
Ganesh is an experienced engineer who works with a range of water utilities, municipalities and government bodies to conduct capital planning and water resources planning, support regulatory compliance and manage data analytics and reporting. Ganesh’s deep expertise in program and project management, business process optimization and civil engineering, along with an ability to successfully run large, complex programs, has produced a track record for successful transformation in the water industry.
Prior to joining West Monroe, Ganesh served as the Division Manager for Water Resources and Planning at the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD). At EVMWD, Ganesh was responsible for capital planning, water resources planning, regulatory compliance, and laboratory operations. He directed EVMWD’s first Integrated Resources Plan and Integrated Facilities Master Plans and developed a phased implementation plan for a $800 million capital program.
Ganesh earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Bombay and his Masters of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration from UCLA. Ganesh is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of California and a certified Project Management Professional.
