Chuck Kirchner is a senior director with West Monroe Partners, based in Chicago, and a leader of the firm’s Security & Infrastructure practice. He has more than 25 years of experience delivering transformational technology-enabled business solutions.


Chuck Kirchner is both an accomplished business and technology consultant and practice leader. He blends strong strategic consulting, technical solution development, program management, organization building, and operations experience to address diverse IT and business challenges. His experience spans early-growth companies to multinational enterprises.

As one of the leaders of West Monroe’s Security & Infrastructure practice, Chuck plays a key role in advancing the firm’s infrastructure offerings to best serve clients as technologies rapidly evolve. In particular, Chuck is focused on growing the firm’s cloud-related consulting services and expertise to help clients maximize the benefits of cloud platforms.

Chuck joined West Monroe Partners in 2016 from Forsythe Solutions Group, where he was vice president of Forsythe Consulting. He played an instrumental role in developing and profitably growing the organization’s services business. Over 13 years, he progressed through multiple leadership roles, building, driving, and managing successful client teams and high-performing strategic consulting and engineering organizations. His other leadership roles with Forsythe Solutions Group included the Systems Consulting group, HP/Oracle line of business, and IT Strategy. He also managed executive-level relationships for some of the firm’s largest services clients.

Previously, Chuck was a director of IT for Telenisus/Verisign, responsible for all aspects of the strategy, development, and management of an industry-leading outsourced managed security and infrastructure services platform and customer web portal. Chuck also spent 10 years with Accenture, progressing through multiple roles as a programmer, designer, user liaison, and team leader of several IT strategy, application development, testing, and production support teams to the level of engagement lead and client director responsible for large-scale strategy and IT transformation programs.

Chuck earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Iowa.
