Will Hinde

Will Hinde is a managing director with West Monroe Partners, leader of the firm’s Healthcare and Life Sciences practice, and a member of the executive team. He has more than 20 years of experience helping healthcare organizations apply strategy and technology to create value.


As West Monroe’s Healthcare and Life Sciences practice leader, Will oversees practice strategy and growth, solution innovation, capability development, business development, and delivery excellence across all of the firm’s healthcare and life sciences clients. Under his leadership, West Monroe serves a wide array of industry organizations, including health plans (national, regional, ancillary), providers (hospitals, IDNs, IPAs, ACOs), life sciences companies, and specialized organizations (health IT, imaging, care management, risk adjustment, analytics).

Throughout his career, Will has earned the trust of senior executives of many leading healthcare and life sciences organizations—building a consummate reputation as an industry expert and thought leader whose extensive experience spans healthcare policy and reform, mergers and acquisitions, customer experience, business and IT strategy, operational assessment and improvement, and systems integration and consolidation. He translates this unique blend of operations and deep technical experience into innovative ways of boosting profitability, growth potential, and competitive advantage. In addition, he has a strong track record for guiding complex, large-scale business transformation that accompanies significant shifts in strategy or technology. 

Will joined West Monroe Partners from Diamond Management and Technology Consultants (acquired by PwC in 2010), where he served as a management consultant to a variety of healthcare organizations. Previously, Will was a technology consultant for Avanade and Accenture, focused on enterprise architecture and complex implementations. 

Will earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Medicine/Biology from Baylor University and is an active member in HIMSS, AHIP and NADP. He is also on the board of directors of Chicago’s CommunityHealth, the largest volunteer-based free medical facility in the United States.
