Rick Garber


Rick Garber is a senior manager in West Monroe Partners’ Customer Experience practice, based in Seattle, Washington. He has more than 20 years of experience in the design and delivery of business-driven technology solutions, program and project management, enterprise IT and software development, and process analysis and improvement.

Rick Garber is an accomplished consultant who works with an array of clients to design and implement customer-centric strategies to build loyalty, promote advocacy, and increase cross-selling capabilities. He has a well-balanced business and IT background that enables him to design and implement technology solutions driven by customer experience and business value. He is adept in helping clients work through difficult challenges faced in complex integration or system transformation programs, particularly in areas where there are gaps and constraints related to business models, business processes, customer and transaction data, and system architectures. His current focus is in the insurance industry, where he is assisting a large national client to execute a customer-centric strategy in a post-merger integration.

Previously, Rick held various IT and business leadership roles with Corbis Corporation over the course of more than a decade. His areas of focus included program and project management, IT process improvement and online product development.  Among other accomplishments, he led development and launch of a new online media product designed to be a disruptive innovation in the advertising market.

Rick began his consulting career with Equarius, a privately held Microsoft systems integrator, CRM and professional services firm acquired by Interlink Group and later by EMC Professional Services.

Rick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree from Oregon State University. He also earned a graduate certificate in Database Design/Administration from the University of Denver.
