Lynn Ernst is a senior manager in West Monroe Partners’ Operations Excellence practice and leader of the firm’s Human Capital Management practice. She has more than 25 years of human resources and consulting experience, including more than a dozen years as a human resources leader and generalist in professional services and technology organizations.

Lynn Ernst leads strategy and development of West Monroe Partners’ Human Capital Management practice. She is a skilled leader, manager, and consultant with demonstrated performance and results across the spectrum of HR operations. Over the course of her career, Lynn has worked with organizations in an array of industries, including the manufacturing, healthcare, not-for-profit/associations, energy, retail/wholesale, software, and professional services sectors.

Lynn excels in planning and implementing human resources management systems (HRMS), maximizing system potential by establishing policies, procedures and processes and training users. Her software selection and implementation experience spans an array of solutions, including PeopleSoft, bSWIFT, Ultimate Software, ADP, Ceridian, and SAP. She blends deep HR technology expertise with strong business acumen, including clear company-wide understanding of employment law and performance management.

Lynn joined West Monroe Partners in 2016 from NTT DATA Inc./The Revere Group, where she was a senior director in the Process Transformation practice, responsible for working with clients to analyze and optimize processes to drive benefits ranging from greater efficiency to competitive advantage. Previously, she held several HR executive roles with the organization, including vice president responsible for all employee programs and employee-related systems and leader of the Employee Integration center of excellence for the combination of six IT consulting firms. She sponsored and managed the implementation of HR systems and self-service applications to support improved efficiencies and employee engagement. 

Lynn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Psychology from California State University, East Bay. She is a candidate for a Master of Business Administration degree with specialization in Organization Behavior from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. She has earned Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM-SCP certifications.
