Dana Cramer works with leading health plans to solve payer-specific problems and provide advice across the health-plan value chain. She has significant experience across all aspects of the healthcare management space, including managed care programs, dynamic utilization management, accountable care organizations (ACO) integration, and other areas. She couples that with sound skills across all phases of program management—including assessment and due diligence, strategy development, implementation planning, process design, change management and training, and financial management.
Dana blends strong healthcare business experience and technology skills to help teams in both disciplines work across departments to deliver complex, strategic, and impactful solutions. Her project experience spans a wide range of client requirements, from enhancing onboarding for new and renewing employer groups while increasing operational efficiencies to developing a long-term strategy for a utilization management business unit.
She also has assessed the risk-stratification needs and capabilities of a medical management business unit and led its implementation of a market-leading care-coordination solution; defined and operationalized a detailed translation process and workflow as part of the operating model for an ICD-10 center of excellence; and provided strategic direction for realignment of a marketing organization to deliver better leads to the client’s various sales channels.
Dana joined West Monroe Partners in 2016 as part of the firm’s acquisition of Invoyent, LLC, a healthcare business and technology consultancy for which she was a manager.
Prior to joining Invoyent, Dana was a senior consultant in Deloitte Consulting’s Information Management practice.
Dana earned Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Computer Information Systems and Philosophy from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
