Corey Coscioni is West Monroe Partners’ director of Strategic Alliances and Corporate Development. He has more than 25 years of business consulting and information technology leadership experience in a variety of industries. Corey is also part of the firm’s corporate development team looking for companies to allow West Monroe Partners to expand capabilities or increase capacities through merger or acquisition.
At West Monroe Partners, Corey leads the company’s efforts to select and maintain alliances with the highest quality product and service firms. These alliances enable West Monroe Partners to advance clients’ business goals through technology-enabled solutions that utilize additional, specialized expertise in areas such as business processes, functional domain knowledge, industry expertise, and vendor product experience.
Over the course of his career, Corey has developed a distinctive blend of business consulting and deep technical experience that spans all facets of information technology, including IT strategy, system analysis, design, development, and project management as well as software product management, marketing and sales. He has implemented information systems in a variety of environments, including e-Commerce, client/server, and mainframe/midrange computer environments. As a project leader, he has demonstrated significant expertise in the areas of vendor analysis and selection, contract and pricing negotiations, project planning and financing, client relationship management, and team management.
He has worked with organizations in a range of industries, including commercial printing, financial services, manufacturing, retail, transportation, shipping, institutional education, and real estate.
Before joining West Monroe Partners, Corey served as director of application development for Rapid Solutions Group, a marketing support services and commercial printing company. In this role, he led four development teams and transformed the IT Development Business Unit into a positive profit/loss entity by improving processes and project management. Corey also was vice president of software services for ABN/AMRO’s professional brokerage group; project manager and enterprise architect for Divine/marchFIRST, an IT consulting firm; senior manager of Internet development for Peapod, an internationally known e-Commerce grocery shopping and delivery service; and a programmer and manager for MPCT Solutions, a provider of banking software solutions.
Corey has achieved the level of CA-AM (Certificate of Achievement - Alliance Management) as a member of ASAP, the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals. He is also a member of SIM, the Society of Information Managers and C-SPIN, the Chicago Software Process Improvement Network. His work for Peapod earned several awards, including a Gomez.com award for Internet usability and a company “Founder’s Award” for product design and delivery.
Corey has a degree in math and computer science from the University of Colorado. He is a board member of the Active Transportation Alliance, a bicycle, pedestrian, and public transit advocacy group with a staff of over 40.
