Chris Barbee is a senior manager in West Monroe Partners’ Customer Experience practice, specializing in delivering transformational customer relationship management (CRM) solutions built on the Salesforce.com platform. He has more than 18 years of experience in a variety of enterprise environments.
Chris Barbee is a results-oriented leader who brings a hands-on, process-focused approach to all facets of a CRM project—enabling clients to transform customer experience. His broad CRM expertise is built on strong skills and background in customer experience and CRM strategy; sales, marketing, and service process improvement; business process reengineering; requirements analysis; solution architecture design; change management; and project management.
While Chris focuses on CRM transformation, his experience spans both front- and back-office applications, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms as well as eCommerce, procurement, transportation, warehousing, workforce and time management, and custom applications with .NET, Java, and mobile frameworks. His extensive background in enterprise integration helps clients keep the end-to-end solution in perspective when planning complex implementation projects. Chris is a certified project manager (PMP, CSM) with experience utilizing both waterfall and agile practices.
Over the course of his career, Chris has worked with leaders in the life sciences, manufacturing, distribution, hospitality, healthcare, software technology, energy and utilities, and other industries.
Chris joined West Monroe Partners from Tectonic, where he was a senior manager. Previously, he was CRM application management with Medline Industries. He also has held consulting and developer roles with Junction Solutions, Hewitt Associates, IBM Global Services, and FutureNext.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Systems from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
