Mike Anderson


Mike Anderson is a senior principal in West Monroe Partners’ Banks & Credit Unions practice. He has more than 30 years of experience working as a banker in treasury management leadership roles, including top executive leadership, product management, sales, and operations.  


Mike has an accomplished track record developing successful product and market solutions, with expertise in commercial and business banking treasury management. He works with clients to guide strategic growth initiatives including market coverage, industry focus programs, sales effectiveness, client satisfaction, and product development programs.

As an industry executive and consultant, Mike has led strategic planning and implementation of successful customer experience programs, treasury management product development, sales and marketing, IT, onboarding, risk management, outsourcing, profitability analysis, and organizational alignment initiatives for banks.

Prior to joining West Monroe Partners in 2017, Mike was executive director of treasury management for Huntington National Bank in Columbus, Ohio, responsible for strategy, sales, product management, service and onboarding, and risk management. Under his leadership, the bank significantly increased fee income and deposits while maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies. He previously held leadership roles with Union Bank, LPL Financial Services, and Mellon Financial Services. Through these roles, he gained extensive global banking and treasury management experience, including serving as the global chief information officer for Mellon Bank.

Mike is a Permanent Certified Cash Manager (PCCM), a member of the Association of Financial Professionals and the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists. He sits on the boards of several community groups and spends his spare time helping with economic development in his hometown. 

Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Allegheny College and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
