Business and Technology Consultancy Adds Key Healthcare Expertise; Establishes End-to-End Dental/Ancillary, Provider, and Health Plan Capabilities
West Monroe Partners, a full-service North American business and technology consultancy, today announced the acquisition of Invoyent, a Chicago-based consultancy dedicated to supporting health plans with deep software, healthcare and consulting experience that drives successful transformation by bridging the gap between IT initiatives and business strategies. Invoyent, founded in 1995, works with many of the nation’s largest healthcare payers to plan, build, and run technology-enabled business solutions.

Invoyent employees join West Monroe Partners’ existing Healthcare practice effective today, adding more than 30 people to the team and allowing us to scale by expanding our current capabilities and leadership.

“We continue to look for ways to fuel our growth, both locally and nationally, through the addition of successful organizations that provide a good fit with our culture and business priorities,” said Doug Armstrong, senior managing director and leader of West Monroe Partners’ Chicago office. “In Invoyent we found a team that not only shares common values and a strong commitment to quality service, but also mirrors our focus on delivering an uncommon blend of business consulting savvy and technical know-how to help our healthcare clients achieve sustainable success.”

The combined Healthcare practice offers expanded business consulting services and healthcare information technology skills to better partner with and serve current and future clients. Representative areas of focus include customer experience strategy and execution, Salesforce.com, care management, cost take-out and operational improvements, information technology strategy, application development and integration, claims, mergers and acquisitions, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions.

“We are excited to join a consulting organization with an exemplary reputation for service and innovation in the healthcare industry as well as a much broader array of business consulting and technology disciplines that allows us to expand our support for our clients,” said Chris Althoff, an Invoyent partner who joins West Monroe Partners. “Just as important, West Monroe Partners’ unique people-oriented culture and strong growth performance offers new and expanded growth and career opportunities for our professionals.”

“Given the industry’s rapid and continued transformation, organizations must be able to mobilize quickly to understand and capitalize on opportunities that exist in the health ecosystem,” said Will Hinde, leader of West Monroe Partners’ Healthcare practice. “The addition of Invoyent’s leaders and team immediately bolsters West Monroe’s industry breadth and depth of healthcare experience. Our combined team brings valuable new resources and insights that will help our organizations’ respective clients adapt quickly in an increasingly complex and changing environment.”
