Adds over 30 years of experience

Accomplished Leader Adds Valuable Consulting, Technology Marketplace Experience

West Monroe Partners, a full-service North American business and technology consultancy, today announced that Greg Buseman has joined the firm as director of business development. He has more than 30 years of experience building, growing, and coaching consultative sales and marketing teams in the technology products and consulting marketplace.

Buseman assumes responsibility for West Monroe Partners’ business development strategy and will oversee the firm’s team of business developers, promoting effective cross-organizational collaboration and sales activities.

“Greg’s track record for successful sales, client account management, and functional leadership in various facets of the consulting profession speaks for itself and is a valuable addition as we continue to expand across North America,” said Kevin McCarty, West Monroe Partners’ president. “As our growth trajectory moves beyond 400 consultants and to nearly 10 locations across the continent, it is increasingly important to have strong, coordinated leadership for our business development activities. Greg is amply equipped to provide that leadership.”

Buseman joins West Monroe Partners from NTT DATA Americas, a global IT services company for which he was a vice president responsible for developing and growing the firm’s presence in oil and gas, utilities, chemicals, minerals, and mining sectors. Previously, he spent 15 years with NTT DATA subsidiary, The Revere Group, as a vice president responsible for sales leadership, marketing, talent acquisition, alliances, inside sales, and all other customer-facing initiatives.

“I am extremely impressed with West Monroe Partners’ approach to developing and nurturing client relationships and, particularly, its high level of client satisfaction and collaborative culture,” said Buseman.

Buseman began his career with IBM in Chicago, and over the course of 15 years he served in various account management and marketing roles, culminating in client executive leadership for one of IBM’s largest North American clients. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University and also participated in a 12-month IBM Executive Program developed by the Harvard Business School specifically for IBM.
