Dennis has spent nearly 30 years developing and implementing value creation strategies, frameworks, and tools for Fortune 500 and mid-cap firms in a variety of industries. In 2001, he founded CharterMast Partners LLC, which is dedicated to providing public and privately held companies guidance, support, and insights for developing and implementing best-in-class strategies for value creation. His writings covering strategic analysis, financial management, and innovation have appeared in the Journal of Private Equity and Director’s Monthly (NACD). He has contributed chapters to “The Valuation Handbook: Valuation Techniques From Today’s Top Practitioners” (Wiley, 2009), “Managing Innovation in the New Millennium” (ICFAI Press, 2002), and “Stock Options – An Introduction” (ICFAI Press, 2005).
Daniel Allen, Ativo Research
Daniel has overall responsibility for business development at Ativo. Prior to joining Ativo he worked for a variety of financial firms over the last 20 years including Smith Barney and Structured Management and Equity, Ltd. where he was Managing Director. He is actively involved in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Investing and runs the ESG Investing forum on LinkedIn, one of the largest ESG Investing forums in the world. He frequently writes about ESG Investing, has been quoted in such national publications as USA Today, and is a frequent public speaker throughout the United States and Europe on the topic of Sustainability and ESG Investing. He authored “The Next Step for ESG Investing: Moving from What and Why to How” and he is a guest instructor for the graduate program at the Stuart School of Business at Illinois Institute of Technology.
