Recently, a large natural resource company, with more than 1,000 employees faced the challenge of integrating a division into its existing operations. The company turned to West Monroe Partners to ensure a successful Day 1 Go-Live quickly. But there was one roadblock, the transfer and integration of all systems and processes had to be complete in 45 days.Understanding the need to be ready on Day 1 – successfully – on time, ADP and West Monroe Partners went to work immediately to understand the scope, identify a team with the right mix of experience and capabilities, and develop a scenario plan to determine if additional resources would be necessary. Leveraging their close working relationship, and honing in on each firm’s area of expertise, ADP and West Monroe Partners developed and executed an integrated five-phased plan (Strategy, Analysis, Planning, Separation and Optimization) that integrated approximately 250 acquired employees from the Parent company’s HRIS/Payroll system into the ADP Payroll system, and also integrated approximately 250 employees from the Parent company’s time and attendance system into the ADP Time & Attendance system – all in under 45 days.
Both ADP and West Monroe Partners point to their team’s transaction experience, flexibility, and frequent communication throughout the engagement as a key differentiator. In addition, their pre-deal collaboration afforded them the time to create a customized implementation plan that ultimately led to a successful close.
