Business in the right direction

Best of the West

To our clients and friends:

I hope you have had a wonderful summer!

I first want to thank you for the all of the positive feedback on the inaugural issue of Best of the West. We created this newsletter to address important issues on the minds of our clients. But just as important, we hope that it will generate valuable dialogue about these issues--dialogue that is valuable to all of us. As always, we welcome your comments and experiences related to the topics we cover.

In this issue, we address strategies for:

  • Closing "the gap" in effective business intelligence
  • Improving your clients--and business partners--online experience
  • Managing the cost of IT infrastructure as your organization grows
  • Elevating customer communication and relationships

I also am pleased to share several exciting developments at West Monroe Partners.

We recently merged with LxLi, a Toronto-based industrial engineering consulting organization well known and respected across North America for productivity and performance management, including methods engineering and work measurement, labor measurement systems, distribution center operations, retail operations, engineered operational turnarounds and logistics and supply chain management services. We are excited about the resources this move provides for our respective clients.

And, I am particularly proud of the fact that West Monroe Partners was recognized in June as one of "Chicago's 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For" by the National Association of Business Resources. As many of you know, we set out to build West Monroe Partners as a uniquely people-focused consulting organization. To receive this type of recognition after less than four years in business is very gratifying for all of us.

Best regards,

Dean Fischer
